People/Pilots 2 mins.

Day 5 task - Weak Looking - Goal update

105 miles downwind, some high overcast from the hurricane, could be iffy. Some of the pilots are specked out, 10 or so relights. Dustin came back to take a later tow and hopefully fly over everyone's head, or that is his plan. Goal update - 7 made it, unbelievable. Glen Volk wins the day.

Video - Day 4 Goal - 59 seconds

Day 4 Goal!

Back to Big Spring, most of the rigids made it. So far about a dozen flexis. Stump wins rigid, Zimmerman (above picture) wins Flex .

Task 4 - 76 mile Triangle

76 mile triangle back to Big Spring. Light switchy winds. Everyone took one tow except Dustin who took 3 or 4 to get up. Cloudbase looks high. Video from the local news.

Pilot hurt in accident

Tim from Colorado was practicing approaches and landings with thetug, after the launch window, and had an accident. He is in the hospital and expected to make a full recovery. Possible broken wrist, rib and punctured lung. Details unfolding. Tim is wonderful guy and we are all saddened and wish him a quick recovery.

Everyone!

I asked Dustin on the phone just now "who made goal?" he said
practically everyone. Obrien first, Dustin second, Volk third. Ollie
won rigids. Awesome flying day!

Dustin prepares day 3
